Born and raised in rural Wanganui to a farming family Riki is no stranger to country life.

While attending Wanganui Collegiate School Riki developed a passion for the great outdoors after joining the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme culminating in the successful traverse of Mount Ruapehu and Mount Ngauruhoe. While being an active hunter Riki loves to get involved with various conservation projects with the aim to preserve what he has come to love for future generations.

Riki is quite knowledgeable in personally buying and selling numerous residential, rural and lifestyle properties throughout the Bay of Plenty as well as having developed a rural block through subdivision, directly handling all aspects of the process from clearing of the land to the full council process.

In addition, Riki also has well over twenty years’ experience in business ownership and management in the hospitality industry. He has recently sold his last venture, a highly successful sports bar in Papamoa Beach, Tauranga. His extensive hospitality career has provided him with a very rewarding and large network of clients and customers throughout the entire Bay of Plenty and beyond and he looks forward to assisting them with their property needs.

Riki is known to be extremely hard working and a real “people person” given his infectious attitude, eye for detail and genuine desire to help others. He possesses an enquiring disposition and loves to constantly learn, improve and better his knowledge.

Riki resides high in rural Whakamarama with his wife Becks, a full time teacher at Omokoroa No.1 School and their three children. His parents reside in a cottage on the family farm and are enjoying all the benefits of rural retirement in this glorious part of New Zealand. Raising top quality beef and lamb for the family table is a project he is passionate about.

In his spare time, he is also involved through coaching and volunteer work with the Omokoroa Sports Club where his children play football and cricket.
