Why We Built External Property Pages (And Why They’re Better for Buyers and Agents)

Most real estate advertising is designed to funnel buyers to a single, rigid landing page. The problem? Buyers don’t want to be forced down one path. They want freedom — to watchlist properties on the platforms they already use, to browse in their own way, and to feel like they’re in control of their buying journey.
That’s why we built TrueProperty’s external property pages.
The Problem With “One-Page Funnels”
Traditional campaigns push all ad clicks to one page — usually the agent’s landing page. From there, buyers can see the listing, but they often can’t add it to their preferred watchlist on TradeMe, RealEstate.co.nz, OneRoof, or Homes.co.nz.
In today’s short-attention world, this is a major issue. Buyers are busy. If they can’t save the property in the app they’re already using daily, there’s a good chance they’ll lose track of it altogether. And when that happens, the vendor loses a potential buyer.
It’s not just inefficient — it’s treating buyers like cattle, herded into one destination they didn’t choose.
Our Solution: TrueProperty External Pages
Every property we promote now gets its own external page — simple, clean, and designed to give buyers options.
Here’s what makes them different:
Directory Links – Instead of locking buyers into one path, our pages let them jump directly to the listing on their platform of choice: TradeMe, OneRoof, RealEstate.co.nz, Homes.co.nz, and more. Buyers feel in control — and vendors get more exposure.
Essential Property Info – Key stats (beds, baths, sqm, land size) are displayed up front, along with hero photos that showcase the property at its best.
Interactive Map – A simple map gives buyers quick context of where the property is located, without overwhelming them with details.
Quick Contact Form – Buyers can instantly reach out to the agent with a streamlined form — no friction, no fuss.
Agent-Centric Branding – When a non-TrueProperty user lands on the page, all TrueProperty menus and branding are hidden, so the page looks and feels like it belongs 100% to the agent.
Why This Matters
For buyers, it means control. They get to choose how and where they engage, and they don’t feel tricked into giving away their details just to see basic property info.
For agents, it means efficiency. Instead of wasting money forcing people into clunky funnels, you’re giving buyers what they want — and that leads to higher engagement, more watchlists, and ultimately more genuine enquiries.
For vendors, it means visibility. Your property isn’t hidden behind gimmicks or walls. It’s promoted in a way that keeps buyers engaged for longer.
The Bottom Line
The old way of doing things treated buyers like leads to be squeezed. The new way — our way — respects their process and still drives results for agents and vendors.
At TrueProperty, we don’t just build ads. We build pathways that work for everyone.
